2 C. Flour
2 C. Sugar
1 Stick Butter or oleo
3 to 4 T. of Cocoa
1 C. Water
1/2 C. Shortening (Not oil)
1/2 C. Buttermilk
1 tsp Soda
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
ICING:
1 Stick Oleo
2 T. Cocoa
6 T. Milk
1 Box Powdered Sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 C. Chopped Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix sugar and flour together in a mixing bow. Heat butter, cocoa, water and shortening in a saucepan until it reaches the boiling point. Pour hot mixture of the dry ingredients and add buttermilk with soda, egg and vanilla. Mix well. Pour batter into pan 11x15x1. Bake for 20 minutes.
Icing:
Put oleo, cocoa and milk in pan and heat until it begins to boil. Remove from stove and add sifted powdered sugar. Blend well and add vanilla and nuts. Pour over hot cake. Add coconut if desired.
