1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons hot water
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons soda
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
4 cups flour
2 packages mini chocolate chips

Mix all ingredients well. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 375º until light brown.

Diane bakes her cookies until light golden brown. Joan makes the same recipe but bakes them until slighly burnt so Tammy can "dunk" them in milk.
