Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 to 3 lbs apples
whole cloves
cinnamon sticks

Directions:
Directions:
Juice apples in steamer with whole cloves. (Steam juicer, not a vegetable steamer) After apples are juiced, boil for 10 minutes with cinnamon sticks and more whole cloves. Sweeten if needed.

You can freeze this juice or can it following the instructions for hot water bath canning.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I don't have a cider press, and need a way to use up the wind fall apples in our yard. This works for me. You can buy a steam juicer in a good Ace hardware store, or you could try using a regular juicer if you have one on hand.
