Drippings from fried meat
1 can of canned milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Toast

Fry meat with shortening or bacon grease in heavy fry pan. Remove meat and quickly stir in about 1/3 can of canned milk. (Adjust amount of milk to the amount of drippings) Bring to a boil and stir to release the drippings and browned bits from the pan. Continue to cook for about 5 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour into a bowl and serve with toast for dipping.

This recipe came from the Roylance family. It is named for Royal Barney, who always used to ask his mom to make it just for him. It is very simple but is a nice change from potatoes and gravy.
