1-1/2 c sifted flour
1-1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg, well beaten
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp. allspice
2 c quick cooking oats
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c chocolate chips (optional)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Sift together dry ingredients. Cream butter with sugar until fluffy. Add egg and bananas mixing well. Stir in oats, nuts, and chocolate chips. Let stand 10 minutes. Drop from a teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes.
