3/4 cup flour, 1 cup oats, 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 cup margarine
1/3 cup brown sugar, 1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 tsp. water, 1 egg
1 to 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

In a 2 qt. bowl mix all ingredients. Spread on bottom of 13x9x2 cake pan. Bake in Preheated 350º oven for 12 to 14 minutes. Quickly (and safely) remove & sprinkle Chocolate chips on top. Put back in oven for 1 minute. Open oven & run a knife through chips in a swirling motion. Close oven & bake for 12 to 14 minutes longer. Remove from oven & cool 5 minutes before cutting.
