1 1/2 cups sugar, 2 eggs, 1 cup margarine
3 cups flour, 1 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup sour milk, 1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla, 4 ripe mashed bananas, 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

In 3 qt bowl cream together marg, sugar & eggs. Mix in smaller bowl flour, soda, baking powder, set aside. (To make sour milk combine 1c milk to 1T vinegar.) Add dry mixture & liquid & vanilla, blend well! Fold in Bananas and Walnuts. Grease 2 standard Bread loaf pans w/shortening & dust w/flour. Bake 60 minutes in 350º oven. Take out of pans immediately, cool on rack right side up.

This recipe was shared back in the 50's from the Mennonite Church in Markham, Illinois where I grew up.My Grandma Ferguson used to Love my Mom to bake it for her. We gathered at church
for "hootenanny's", Singing, Playing Music & Sharing Fine Foods from all ! Thank You Grandma for Giving us Mom! All you gave is still Living on in the genes that made so much possible. We Love you Dearly...Like Mother...Like Daughter...Like Granddaughter ! Oh how I remember...Love Eternal
