Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 egg yolks
2 T. milk
2 1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. unsalted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

1 Container Duncan Hines Cream Cheese Frosting

Directions:
Directions:
Using mixer, beat egg yolks and milk together; Add softened butter and sugar and mix until blended. Add rest of ingredients and mix. The dough will be stiff. Chill dough for 2 hours or longer.

Split dough. Roll out dough until about 1/8 inch- 1/4 thick. Use cookie cutter to cut out shapes. On half of the cookies you will use a mini cutter and cut out the center of the cookie - this will be your top cookie so the icing shows through.

Bake cookies at 375º for about 10-12 minutes. They don't really want to be browned.

Let cookies cool and frost bottom cookie with frosting- dyed to whatever color you want. Don't frost all the way to the edge of the cookie. Put top cookie (that has the hole in it) on top and frosting will spread out a bit.

Okay here is the secret recipe. If you don't remember, they were the favors at both Meg's and Kathy's weddings. Now everyone knows that it is canned frosting. I make them for many holidays - red and green for Christmas, use a shamrock and green frosting for St. Patrick's Day, pink frosting and hearts for Valentine's Day, etc.
