Mix until creamy:
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter (softened)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs
Mix in by hand:
1 teaspoon vanilla
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
Then add:
4 ounces dark chocolate bar
2 1/2 cups oatmeal
--broken into chunks
--blended into a flour
1 1/4 cup chopped pecans
2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
To prepare the oatmeal, we use a food processor or a blender set on high to chop the oatmeal into a fine flour. Also, the bigger the chunks of chocolate, the better the cookie.

Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes. Makes about four dozen cookies.

To reduce prep time, we blend the oatmeal in large batches and store in an airtight container.
