2/3 cup butter, room temperature (1/4 lb. plus 3 tbsp.)
2 3/4 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 can pumpkin
2/3 cups water
3 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
2/3 cup nuts
2/3 cup raisins

Directions:

Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs and cream very well. Then add the pumpkin and the water. In a separate bowl, blend the dry ingredients. Add this to the wet mixture and blend. Lastly, stir in the nuts and raisins. Grease and flour a Bundt pan or 2 loaf pans. Bake at 350º for 65 - 75 minutes for the Bundt pans and less for the loaf pans.
