1 - 20 oz. can crushed pineapple NOT drained
1/2 cup sugar
1 - 3 oz. orange or lemon jello
1/2 lb . colby or longhorn cheese grated
1 cup crushed pecans
1 - 9 oz. coolwhip

Directions:
Directions:
Boil crushed pineapple and the sugar for three minutes. Dissolve the jello in one cup boiling water. Add to pineapple. Refrigerate til syrupy.
Add cheese, crushed pecans and coolwhip. Stir together.
