Hamburger Barley Soup Recipe

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
6 C water
3 tsp beef bouillon
2 C sliced carrots
1 1/2 C sliced celery
1 1/2 C chopped onion
1/2 C chopped green pepper
1/3 C barley
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 bay leaves
1/4 C catsup
28 oz can diced tomato (undrained)
8 oz can tomato sauce

Brown and drain ground beef. Mix all ingredients in a 5 qt. dutch oven bring to boil and reduce heat. Simmer 1 hour. Or, this is a great recipe that you can put in a crock pot and simmer all day.
