9" top and bottom frozen pie crust
1 lb. pkg. of ground pork-veal-beef
1 pkg. of taco mix
1/4 cup of water
2 bell peppers (red and / or green) whichever you prefer
1 1/2 cups shredded taco cheese
8 oz. jar of salsa (mild or hot)
1 beaten egg

Cook the meat and drain off the fat. Par boil the peppers. Combine taco mix and water in separate bowl then add the mix and the peppers to the meat. Layer the meat and pepper mix into a 9" pie plate as follows: one of the pie crusts on the bottom, then the meat, then the peppers, then the taco cheese, then the salsa. Then layer the top with the remaining pie crust. Brush the top of crust with the beaten egg. Pinch the sides of the crust and poke a few holes in top of crust. Bake at 350º for 40 minutes.
