Mushroom Wine Burgers Recipe

1 pound ground chuck
1/4 cup light cream
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon minced onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup beef bouillon
1/2 cup red wine
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
4 ounces mushroom pieces
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
dash salt
dash pepper
4 slices bread

Preheat frypan to 380 degrees. Combine chuck, cream, milk, onion, salt and pepper. Toss lightly with fork, shape into 4 patties. Melt butter in fry pan, add patties and fry just until browned on both sides. Remove patties and keep warm. Turn heat down to 300 degrees, add flour to drippings. Stir in bouillon and wine. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture boils and thickens. Add Worcestershire sauce, parsley and mushrooms with liquid. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Return patties to pan, cook until done. Place patties on toast, cover with sauce.
