5 cups oatmeal
8 ounces Hershey bar
2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
24 ounces chocolate chips
2 cups chopped nuts

1. In a blender, blend the 5 cups oatmeal until like flour. Grate 1 plain 8 oz Hershey bar, which can also be done in a blender.

2. Cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until light and fluffy.

3. Sift together dry ingredients and add to ground oatmeal. Combine with the creamed mixture. Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar and nuts. Bake golf ball sized drops of dough in 375 degree oven 10-12 minutes. They should be brown on the bottom and may appear raw.
