5 1/2 c. cooked chicken, chunked
2 c. celery, chopped
3 c. green grapes, halved
1 T. minced onion
3 oz. slivered almonds

Dressing:
1 1/2 c. Miracle Whip
1/4 c. half and half cream
1/4 c. chicken broth
1 T. lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook whole chicken with onion, celery, salt, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Cool; chunk. Save 1/4 c. broth for dressing. In large bowl, mix all salad ingredients together. Stir dressing ingredients together and mix with chicken. Serve in bowl lined with lettuce. The chicken can be cooked the day before and kept in refrigerator.

The Buhler girls served this salad at most of the showers given for the nieces and nephews. It should be called Shower Salad.
