4 to 6 chicken breasts
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. marjoram
1 tsp. garlic powder
salt to taste
1/2 pkg. egg noodle, rice or potatoes
1 - 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
1 tsp. cayenne pepper (or as much as you can stand)
1 medium chopped onion
1 c. cubed celery with leaves
1 c. sliced carrots
1 head oriental cabbage (optional)

Directions:
Use a large pot, such as a Dutch oven. Fill it 3/4 full with water; add basil, thyme, marjoram, garlic powder, salt and chicken breasts. Boil for about 1/2 hour. Remove chicken, cool and then cut into cubes. Add tomatoes and cayenne pepper, simmer 10 minutes. Add cubed chicken and vegetables; cook until tender. Add uncooked pasta, potatoes or rice and cook until done.
