2 cups rhubarb
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 egg
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Cut rhubard into small pieces. Combine with sugar; cream shortening and brown sugar; add egg to cream mixture and beat. Combine rhubarb and sugar mixture with creamed ingredients; Alternately add the dry ingredients with the buttermilk and soda. Add vanilla
