1 lb . browned ground beef,
1 lb. shredded cheese (cheddar jack or Mexican blend is best),
1 8 oz can enchilada sauce,
1 8 oz can refried beans (heated),
1 pkg burrito size tortillas,
shredded lettuce,
sour cream,

Preheat oven to 350, or Dutch oven to 350

Brown and drain ground beef, add enchilada sauce to ground beef. In a 13 x 7 cake pan, or Dutch oven , put an overlapping layer of tortillas on bottom (about 4 to 5 tortillas). Spread a scoop of refried beans over layer, then add a couple scoops of the beef mixture on top, and top with cheese. Repeat tortilla and filling mixture until pan is full or you run out of ingredients. Cover with foil and bake for roughly 10 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 extra minutes to brown cheese on top.Let sit for 5 minutes before serving, then add your favorite taco toppings when serving.
