1 loaf French bread dough (either
1/4 cup onions, chopped
homemade or bought from
8 bacon strips, cooked and
grocer's bakery.)
crumbled
6 ounces thinly sliced deli ham
1-1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Roll out dough into a large rectangle, and place on a greased baking sheet. Place ham over dough; sprinkle with onions, bacon, and cheese. Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a long side. Pinch seams to seal and tuck ends under. Place seam side down on baking sheet. Cut several 1/4 inch deep slits on top of loaf. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm.

Serve with marinara for dipping and a yummy salad. You can also try whatever you'd like inside the stromboli: pepperoni, mozzarella, and olives for example. We've tried all kinds, but the ham and swiss is our favorite.
