Cranberry Nut Bread Recipe

2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

1/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup orange juice
1 Tbs orange rind
1 egg
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 cup cranberries

Grease and flour a bread baking pan;set aside.
Sift the dry ingredients together; cut in the shortening. Beat the egg; combine with orange juice and rind; mix into dry ingredients. Fold in the nuts and cranberries. Bake at 350F for one hour.
