2 sticks margarine
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 Tbsp baking soda
1/4 tsp cream of tarter
7 to 8 cups popped corn (with widows removed)

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, add margarine, brown sugar and syrup, stir and bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Add salt, soda and cream of tartar.
2. Put popped corn in a large roaster, stir in the sugar mixture.
3. Bake in 200º oven for I hour stirring the mixture occasionally.
4. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Does not become sticky if kept covered overnight.
