1 box yellow cake mix (divided)
1/2 cup shortening
3 eggs (divided)
2/3 cup evaporated milk
16 oz can pumpkin
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup margarine

Directions:
Directions:
1. Reserve 1 cup of the cake mix. In a mixing bowl, mix the rest of cake mix with melted shortening and one egg.
2. Pat into greased 9 x 13 baking pan to form lower crust.
3. Mix the rest of the ingredients except reserved cake mix and margarine and put on the unbaked crust.
4. Mix reserved cup of cake mix and melted margarine and sprinkle on top of filling.
5. Bake at 350º for 45 to 50 minutes.
6. Serve with whipped cream.
