CAKE LAYER: 1 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. butter softened, 4 eggs, 1 1/2 c. Hershey's syrup; MINT CREAM CENTER: 2 c. powdered sugar, 1T water, 1/2 t. mint extract, 3 drops green food coloring, 1/2 c. butter softened; TOPPING: 6 T butter, 1 c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350º, combine flour, sugar, butter, eggs and syrup. beat until smooth. Place in a greased or sprayed 9x13 pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. LET COOL COMPLETELY. Mix cream center by beating powder sugar, water, mint extract, food coloring and butter until smooth. spread on cooled cake, cover and chill for at least 30 minutes. make topping by melting together 6 T butter and 1 c. chocolate chips and pouring over chilled desert. cover and refrigerate at least 1/2 hour more.
