1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
3/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 - 1 lb can dark red kidney beans, drained
1- 29 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 to 2 tsp. chili powder

In heavy skillet, cook meat, onion, and green pepper until meat is lightly browned and vegetables are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for one hour.
