3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup flour
1 egg
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup coarsely broken pecans
dash salt

Directions:
Directions:
Blend together cream cheese and butter. Stir in flour. Chill one hour. Shape into 1 inch balls.(2 dozen). Place into ungreased 1 3/4 inch muffin pan. Press dough against bottom and sides
Beat together egg, brown sugar, vanilla and salt.
Divide 1/3 cups coarsely broken pecans among tarts.Add egg mixture, top with remaining pecans.
Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes or until filling
is set. Cool and remove from pan.
