"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Put 1 c. butter and milk into a large mixing bowl then add yeast, sugar, eggs and salt. Beat flour into mixture. Cover and allow to rise. Divide dough into two balls. Roll each ball into large circles on the countertop. Spread additional softened butter over dough. Cut dough like you would a pizza with a rolling pizza slicer. Roll each wedge into a crescent shape and place onto a cookie sheet. Allow crescents to rise until desired size. Bake at 375º for 15 minutes or until golden.

I have made the dough and placed it into the fridge covered with plastic wrap overnight. This works very well but is not necessary.
