1 15 1/4 oz. can crushed pineapple
4 slices bread
1/2 c. margarine
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
3 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Drain pineapple. Remove crusts from bread and cut into cubes. Cream margarine and sugar, then add eggs. Beat, then add milk and salt.
In a 9 x 9 pan, layer the drained pineapple, bread crumbs and creamed sugar, eggs and milk mixture. Bake for 1 hour, uncovered, at 350º. Serve hot or cold, as a side dish or dessert. This recipe may be doubled or tripled with excellent results.
