2 c. sugar
1/2 c. ole (margarine)
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 t. soda
1 t. nutmeg
1 t. cinnamon
pinch salt
4 c. raw apple, cut fine

Sauce for cake:
2 c. sugar
6 T. flour
2 c. water
salt to taste
2 T. butter
2 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, ole and eggs together. Add flour, soda, spices, salt and apples. Beat until smooth
Put in 9x12 baking pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until done.

Sauce:
Add all the ingredients to a saucepan and boil until thick. Use warm or cold over the cake.
