2/3 cup butter
2 ½ cups sugar
4 eggs
1 15 oz. can pumpkin
¼ cup orange juice
3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsps. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. ground ginger
½ tsp. ground cloves

Directions:

Cream together with an electric mixer butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Add pumpkin and orange juice. Mix together in a separate bowl: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ground ginger, ground cloves. Add dry ingredients to wet with electric mixer until really fluffy.

Divide the batter between 2 greased loaf pans, and bake at 350 degrees in the lower third of the oven for 45 minutes, or until tester comes out clean. If breads brown too quickly, cover loosely with foil for duration of baking time.
