1 cube margarine
1 cube butter
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
4 cups of flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup of oatmeal
1 package milk chocolate chips
1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups chopped walnuts

Directions:

Blend margarine, butter, sugar.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add flour, soda and oatmeal a bit at a time until well blended.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Bake for 8 minutes at 350*.

This recipe makes a lot of cookie dough. I often freeze it in small batches ~ so easy to pull out a container and bake a couple of dozen cookies to serve to kids or to provide a quick, homemade dessert.
