3 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic (chopped)
2 bay leaves
1 tbsp dried oregano
2 8oz cans of tomato sauce
1 8oz can of water
1 28oz can whole peeled tomatoes (hand crushed)
8 ounces of tomato vodka sauce
1 medium onion (chopped)
1 large red bell pepper (cut into cubes)
1 1/2 lbs hot sausage (skins removed)
3/4 lb 85% hamburger
1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
1 1/2 pounds of med pasta shells
* salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
1.Heat olive oil in large sauce pan to med-high adding garlic,onion,pepper,Hamburg and sausage. cook until meat is browned about 5 min.

2. Drain 1/2 the liquid from meat add salt and pepper to taste

3. Add the tomato sauce,water,whole peeled tomatoes and vodka sauce.

4. Bring mixture to a low simmer for 30-40 min adding basil,oregano and bay leaves

5. toss with cheese and pasta
