1 (4-serving size) pkg. of strawberry jello
3/4 c. boiling water
1/2 c. ice cubes
1 (4-serving size) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
3/4 c. milk
3 1/2 c. thawed cool whip
1 pint strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 baked 9-inch pie crust, cooled

Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add ice cubes and stir until melted. Prepare pudding mix with milk as directed on box for pie. Let stand about 2 minutes then blend in jello. Chill to thicken if necessary. Fold in 2 c. cool whip and strawberries. Pour into crust and freeze 1 hour then move to refrigerator 3 hours before serving. Garnish with rest of cool whip and more strawberries if desired.
