Apple Muffins Recipe

1 1/2 C brown sugar
2/3 C oil
1 egg
1 C sour milk + 1 tsp sour milk
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 C flour
1 1/2 C finely chopped apples
1/2 C chopped nuts
For the topping
1/3 C brown sugar
1 tsp butter melted
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Combine 1 1/2 C brown sugar, oil and the egg in a large bowl.
In a small bowl combine the sour milk, baking soda, salt and
vanilla. Add the milk mixture to the sugar mixture alternately with
the flour. Mix well after each addition. Fold in the apples and
chopped nuts. Pour into paper lined muffin pan. Sprinkle tops
with mixture of brown sugar, melted butter and cinnamon.
bake at 325 for 30 minutes
