2 1/2 c sugar
1/2 c light corn syrup
1/2 c water
2 egg whites
pinch of salt
1/2 t almond flavoring
1/2 t vanilla flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, corn syrup, and water, and stir until sugar is dissolved. Do not stir after it starts boiling. Cook to soft ball stage or 238 degrees, and when syrup stops bubbling, pour in a fine stream over the beaten egg whites, beating constantly. When the mixture begins to cool, add flavoring and continue to beat until it will hold its shape, is dull and loses its gloss.
