1 tall c. crushed pineapple (drained)
2 T. sugar
1 yellow cake mix
1 c. cherry or strawberry pie filling
1 c. chopped pecans
2 sticks butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Butter or grease pan. Spoon pineapple evenly in bottom of pan. Sprinkle 1 T. sugar over this. Spoon pie-filling evenly over pineapple. Sprinkle 1 T. sugar . Pour cake mixture straight from the box, over pie-filling. Sprinkle nuts over this. Cut up sticks of butter or margarine and spread over top.

Bake at 350º for approximately one hour. Spoon portions out of pan.
