Ingredients:
1 T. yeast
1 T. sugar
1 c. warm water
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 T. oil

Directions:
Directions:
Add the yeast & sugar to warm water, let sit for 10 minutes. In the meantime, combine the flour & salt in a bowl. Add oil & water/yeast/sugar to flour mixture, and mix until dough pulls away from the side of the bowl into one clump (I like the texture of the dough to be softer and less sticky, so I add flour as needed.) Either spread the dough directly onto a greased pizza pan, or roll on floured surface (or toss it if you're a real pro) before laying it on the greased pizza pan. Let rise about 20 minutes, then add desired toppings. Bake in the oven at 375 for about 20 minutes or until crust turns golden brown.

Any kind of oil works well; canola gives a very mild flavor whereas olive oil is, of course, stronger in taste. Also, adding herbs and/or garlic powder to the dough tastes great.

Personal Notes:
Our little Sydney prefers homemade pizza to anything we've gotten elsewhere. Wait, maybe that's just because she knows when it's homemade she's literally had a hand in it...Anyway, it's a great recipe for letting the kids help out in the kitchen.
