2 lb. sausage, browned and drained
4 c. water
1 1/4 c. grits
4 c. shredded sharp cheddar
1 c. milk
1/2 t. thyme
1/8 t. garlic
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Prepare grits: boil water, stir in grits, return to boil. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Stir cheese, milk, thyme and garlic powder into grits mixture.
Stir eggs into mixture. Add sausage.
Spoon mixture into 9 x 13 baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika and bake one hour.
