Kabobs

1/4 c. soy sauce
2 T. brown sugar
2 T. water
1 T. sesame oil
1 t. crushed red pepper flakes
1 t. minced fresh ginger root
1 t. minced garlic
1-1/2 lbs. chicken breasts cut into 1-1/2" pieces
1 lb. fresh asparagus trimmed & cut into 2 " pieces 2 T. olive oil
1/2 t. salt

Dipping Sauce

2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 T. toasted sesame seeds
1T. sesame oil
1/2 t. white pepper

Combine ingredients & refrigerate 2-4 hours.

Kabobs

Combine all the marinade ingredients in a zip lock bag, add chicken & turn to coat.

Toss asparagus in olive oil & salt.

Alternately thread chicken & asparagus on skewers.
Grill covered over med heat 4-5 min each side.
serve with dipping sauce.
