1 1/2 C butter - softened
2 C white sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
5 C flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vaniall. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt and mix until blended. Cover and chill in fridge for at least 1 hour. Preheat oven to 400º. Roll out dough onto floured surface to 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Use cookie cutters and cut out shapes. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake for 5-8 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and place on wire racks to cool.
