1 cup milk
2 cups self-rising flour
1/4 cup oil
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 stick butter, softened
Glaze:

4 cups of milk
1 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Recommendation: for best results, use only unsalted butter.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Mix the milk, flour, and oil together to make a dough.
Roll the dough flat to about 1/2 inch thick.
Stir the sugar and vanilla together separately.
Spread the butter on top of the dough.
Sprinkle the buttered dough with the sugar mixture.
Roll the dough into a log; slice the log into 2 inch slices to make the rolls.
Place the rolls onto a flat pan.
Bake them for 30 minutes or until they've browned.

To glaze:
Gently heat the milk in a saucepan until it has warmed. Add the sugar; stir constantly until the sugar has fully dissolved.
Remove the saucepan from the heat to slightly cool.
Pour the glaze over the rolls and serve them while they're still warm.
