1 c. sugar
¾ c. butter
2 eggs
3 c. flour
3 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1c. milk
Crumb Mixture:
1 ½ c. brown
1 c. nuts
2 tsp. cinnamon
Glaze:
1 tbsp. butter
½ c. powdered sugar
½ tsp. cornstarch 3
3 tbsp very hot water

Directions:

Cream sugar and butter and add eggs. Beat well. Mix flour, baking powder and salt together and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Put in ½ of the batter. Spread 1/2 of the crumb mixture over this. Spoon in the rest of the batter. Then remaining 1/2 of crumb mixture. Over this drizzle ½ cup of melted butter or margarine. Bake at 350º for 20 to 30 minutes. Cool. Drizzle glaze over the top.

Make sure you check this cake because if it gets to done it is dry. Sometimes it looks a little soft in the middle so watch that too. It can be a little less done rather than over done.
