1 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar - firmly packed
1 egg
1 1/3 cups ready to use mince meat*
1 1/2 cups oatmeal - uncooked

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Cream shortening. Gradually add sugar, beating until fluffy. Beat in egg. Stir in mince meat. Gradually add flour mixture, blending well. Stir in oats. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet, about 2" apart. bake in a 350ºF oven till lightly browned, ~ 15 minutes. Do not over cook.

*To use Bordens None Such Mincemeat Concentrate in the box - just crumble into 3/4 cup of water, heat the mixture and stir until lumps are broken up. Boil briskly for 1 minute. Cool

Makes about 4 dozen 2" cookies.
