1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Monterey jack pepper cheese
1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
2 tbsp. Knorr vegetable soup mix
1-2 tbsp. finely chopped sweet onions (like Vidalia)
1 tbsp. red peppers, finely chopped
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. lime juice
1 dash ground red pepper
1 cup coarsely ground almonds

Directions:

Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jack cheese, swiss cheese, soup mix, onion, red pepper, worcestershire sauce, lime juice and ground red pepper. Form cheese mixture into 2 balls and roll in ground almonds (or pecans) and press into ball to coat it well. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to blend. Flavors are best if served at room temperature. Serve with your favorite assortment of crackers.

I use a rolling pin to slightly crush the bag of vegetable soup mix before I open it. The cheese ball freezes well, if desired. This cheese ball makes a great filling for Jalapeno poppers.
