6 medium bell peppers, cored
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 c. light cream
2 tbsp. ketchup
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cooked rice
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. barbecue sauce
1 egg, unbeaten
1/4 c. onions, chopped
1/4 c. green peppers, chopped
1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Blanch green peppers in boiling water for five minutes. Drain. Mix well the ground beef, cream, ketchup, salt, pepper, barbecue sauce, egg, onion, green pepper, and rice in a two-quart bowl. Do not add tomato sauce. Fill each pepper with the meat mixture and place in a two-quart greased baking dish. Pour the can of tomato sauce over stuffed peppers, cover and place in a 350º oven for one hour or until peppers are tender. Spoon sauce over peppers before serving.
