1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 tbsp butter
1/3 cup water
4 quarts popped corn

Directions:
Directions:
Slowly cook brown sugar, butter and water in 2 quart sauce pan. Stir til mixture boils. Boil to soft ball stage (238 degrees). Pour over popcorn. Stir until every kernel is coated. You may have to stir for quite some time. The coating needs to be dry before you are done.

Jewel Tea salesmen used to come door to door and sold everything from tea to brushes to pasta, etc. I don't know if they still exist, but I know they came frequently to the house in Fort Morgan, Colorado.
