1 pound margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cream of tarter

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugars. Add eggs and beat. Add dry ingredients and vanilla. Roll into small balls. Flatten with glass dipped in sugar. At this point, the kids can add colored sprinkles for extra fun. Bake at 350 degrees about 12 minutes. Chilled dough handles easier.

Ella Young (wife of Dad's cousin Cecil) gave this recipe to Mom. Cecil and Ella moved to Seattle at some point and we went up to visit a couple of times in the sixties. She used to tell stories about working in the rehab center where Roy Rogers came from time to time to dry out. I hope Trigger never inherited a drinking problem from Roy.
