Seasonings vary.
2 teas vinegar 2 T sugar 2 teas salt 4 whole cloves 1 bay leaf 1 clove garlic 2 stalks celery

Brisket rub foil wrapped x 3 around brisket

Home make barbeque flavors as your family likes

The first is to be covered with water and cooked 3 hours until tender

The second is to be grilled with the rub on it and wrapped in foil, for 3 hours

The third is every families recipie for good brisket and the ingredients vary.

Brisket is very popular in Texas , where I lived for about 8 years. The recipies are like spaghetti sauce ( everyone's is different). But nothing is better for a big crowd. This meat can be eaten on sandwiches or sliced with sauce over it.
