4 cups peaches - sweetened and thickened as for pie
1 cup flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
1 egg, slightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and butter until crumbly, then add milk and egg. Drop by spoonfuls on hot peach mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
