2 cups flour
1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp soda
1 cup sour milk
1 egg
1 cup raisins, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar and butter till crumbs. Hold out 3/4 cup of crumbs for top. To remaining crumbs add cinnamon, cloves and soda. Mix milk, egg and raisins and add to seasoned crumbs.

Pour into 8 X 8 pan and sprinkle plain crumbs on top of cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Double and bake in 9 X 13 pan if you want.
